There are many reasons why you would consider using a cheap online broker. Beginning traders need to look at their choices in online brokers and decide which one is right for them. 1. Look at the Numbers - If you do not trade in large volumes of shares, then the commissions you pay can make up a significant part of your overall investment. 3. Because You Can - If you are a trader that uses the tools that you can only get through a more expensive broker, there is a trick that you can use. You can open a second account with a cheap online broker to execute your trades.
It is the best of both worlds. You get the tools you want from your expensive broker, but you get the cheap trading from your cheap broker.
