What Console Is Best for FPS Games?

I hear the question often, which console is better? PS3? XBox 360? Many factors go into the decisions, but if you want a truly honest answer I'd say neither.

Why? PC is the king of FPS gaming. Neither console allows the type of maneuverability, customization, or graphics that is offered by Gaming PCs. However, PC gaming is difficult to get into due to somewhat higher costs to get a modern setup that would be able to run most current games on maxed, and due to the troubleshooting and issues that my crop up while trying to install games, run them with outdated drivers, and other problems. So why would you wanna play PC?

Still, most swear by playing on PC because of these reasons. Consoles are closed systems and after a few months PC graphical capabilities surpass the consoles' graphics by a mile. They also allow mod support and have the, considered by many, superior control system: keyboard/mouse. You have a plethora of keys and much greater precision while aiming, which is something that is of utmost importance in FPS games. On consoles, FPS Games typically have some version of autoaim, which will making aiming easier due to the more cumbersome control scheme that is presented by a gamepad, or controller. This is looked down upon by the PC gaming community, which has portrayed them as an elitist gaming community, while in fact it is probably the least profane and most helpful community compared to the XBox 360 and PS3.
